I start this work with the concern of the endangered marine life (e.g. hunting of whale in Japan and water pollution), and I relate it to a movie, Moby-Dick, which is based on a novel by Herman Melville. The movie is about a voyage of Captain Ahab, who intends to exact revenge on a tremendous whale named Moby-Dick that bit off his leg at the previous encounter. I find this interesting that the human violent intervention on nature sometimes resulted in massive strike back, ironically they don’t consider the problem of their action but blame groundlessly. It is quite possible that in the near future we can only know about the forgone nature from curiosity cabinet and photograph if we do not aware of the problem.

此作品的意念來自海洋生態問題，而我連繫到「無比敵前傳」這齣電影。由故事內容到現實生活，我關注人類對於自然的殘暴介入繼而引至惡果，但諷刺地我們仍然未真正意識到事情的嚴重性。不久的將來我們可能只能從少數的相片或珍品櫃中懷念已逝的自然。
